Santa Fe Springs, CA ... UP's Los Nietos Yard, Valla Interflow Terminal... Santa Fe Springs is rich in railroad activity and also railroad history. The BNSF's San Bernadino sub runs through the city and meets with the UP line at DT Junction under the 605 freeway and also west of Norwalk Blvd. The UP's Norwalk switcher also does time in Santa Fe Springs a bit.

Union Pacific's Los Nietos Yard
Ex- Southern Pacific's Los Nietos Yard which is located on Los Nietos Road between Norwalk Blvd and Pioneer serves as a crew point for several of UP's locals and also a seperate Transflow facility for overflow from the nearby Valla yard. On site is also one of UP's signal repair facilities.
