ex Caltran's VRE Budd cars sold to the Grand Canyon Railway were moved from the Bay area to Willams, AZ via a special train led by two Amtrak F50PHI's... I was enroute south from Tehachapi when I spotted the train stopped over the 5 freeway so I got off to investigate. I had no idea at the time what the train was about, but was able to grab two images using the fence to steady the camera for the night exposure... shortly after the train followed Amtrak's Southwest Cheif east.
