Cajon Pass - Palmdale Cutoff ... The Palmdale cutoff is the Union Pacific's right of way that starts in Mojave, California and extends south through Palmdale and Lancaster and then meets up with the BNSF line near Summit and then follows the BNSF line down Cajon Pass and cuts over to West Colton were it meets up at the West Colton Yard.
