Long Pass and Extension Siding:...There are two sidings located west of the Anaheim yard that are utilized by the locals and haulers that service the area. It is from this location that UP's Marlboro Local, Costa Mesa Local & Huntington Beach Locals grab their loads for each days trains before heading to their area's of service.
The Anaheim / West Colton hauler drops off their loaded manifest cars on these sidings before tying down on the wye.
You can catch Crescent Way off of either Brookhurst Street or Lincoln Ave. to get near the area of the Long Pass siding. To catch moset of the action on the Extension siding I would recommend viewing it from either Crescent Way or heading to Sequoia Ave. off of Brookhurst Street. You may also catch the Buena Park local getting cars off the Extension siding if the hauler was unable to set out all of it's cars at the La Mirada storage track.
